Perhaps no story from the Chilean mine saga proved as memorable as the one about Yonni Barrios, whose wife Marta Salinas discovered her husband's mistress waiting for him to emerge from the ground. It turns out that the mistress, Susana Valenzuela, had some competition of her own. Valenzuela says she had to bar a 25-year-old woman, who had also been romanced by Barrios, from his hospital room. "He is my Yonni Barrios—mine and no one else's," the first mistress told a Colombian radio station.
